Spaces for Your Celebration
We offer two beautiful settings for your wedding, each with its own charm and character.
The Meetinghouse Sanctuary
With seating for more than 450 guests, the historic Meetinghouse Sanctuary is a breathtaking space for larger weddings. Its classic Congregational architecture, soaring ceilings, and elegant organ music create a timeless backdrop for your vows. Whether filled with family and friends or kept more simple, the Sanctuary provides a setting that is both grand and deeply meaningful.
The Chapel in the Plymouth Building
For couples desiring a smaller, more intimate service, the Chapel seats about 60 guests. This warm and inviting space is ideal for close family and friends, offering a quiet beauty that allows the focus to remain on your love and your promises to one another. With its intimacy and charm, the Chapel creates a tender atmosphere for your special day.
Meeting with Pastors and Musicians
Couples should plan to meet with one of our pastors at least twice prior to the rehearsal. These conversations help shape a service that reflects your relationship and faith. You will also connect with one of our church musicians, either in person or by phone, to plan the music for your ceremony.
LGBT+ Weddings
As an Open and Affirming Congregation, First UCC Milford celebrates the love of all couples. We have joyfully hosted same-gender weddings and are eager to continue welcoming couples of every identity to exchange vows in our church.
