A lot of us were raised with a ‘God-as-vending-machine’ theology: behave well, pray hard, and blessings will pop out. But real love — divine love — doesn’t work like that. It’s not earned or bought. It just is. At our church, we’re trying to unlearn the lies of conditional worth and relearn the grace of being loved just because we exist. Spoiler: that’s really good news.
