Each year, our “Time to Share” campaign raises thousands of dollars for ministries and community organizations which serve those in need of life’s necessities: food, shelter, physical assistance, and spiritual strength. This year, we focus on those ministries founded in some way by the ancestors and current members of First Church Milford.

The Christian Outreach Ministry invites you to give the “gift of good works” this holiday season to holiday dinner hosts, coworkers, or those family members who are oh-so-difficult to buy for! It’s a win/win situation for all and our Ministry is here to help make the connections through our annual “Time to Share” campaign.

OUR 2025 BENEFICIARIES

First Church Food Pantry: Because of our current economy, the number of families served each month by our Food Closet continues to grow and food is needed for its shelves more than ever before.

Emma Davis Medical Equipment Ministry: This medical equipment clearinghouse has offered compassionate service in the region for many decades. Emma Davis was a member of First Church who spent a lifetime reaching out to the needy in Milford. In her honor, we have been gathering used medical equipment — wheelchairs, walkers, etc. — and making it available, free of charge, all over the state for many decades.

Beth-El Center: Their mission is to extend dignity and respect to all individuals and families while connecting them to housing, food and services within their communities.

Matthew 25: This church fund is administered by our Pastors to address emergency needs in our church family and community.

Food2Kids: This is an initiative of First Church Milford and in partnership with our schools and many caring individuals, civic organizations, communities of faith and groups in Milford.  We attend to the needs of local children who have little or no food during the weekend away from school.

Steeple Restoration Fund: Our beautiful steeple has been restored, and we need your support to cover the expenses of those much needed renovations.
