Children ages 3 through 7th grade are warmly invited to be part of our Sunday School ministry, a place where faith and friendship grow side by side. Each Sunday, our gifted teaching teams create a nurturing environment that blends learning, creativity, and fun. Through Bible stories, music, prayer, and hands-on activities, children discover the foundations of Christian faith in ways that connect with their everyday lives.

Sunday School is not only about learning what we believe, but about experiencing it together — through drama, art, and song, through serving others, and through building relationships that remind children they are deeply loved by God. No matter how often a child attends, they will be welcomed back with open arms and encouraged to share their gifts. It is our joy to help children grow in confidence, compassion, and faith as part of God’s family.

Core Commitments

Our Sunday School programming is guided by six core commitments:

  • Welcome – We embrace all families and cultivate a space where children respect one another and each person’s expression of faith.

  • Encouragement – We encourage children to learn age-appropriate prayers, Bible stories, and music, while also encouraging families to make church a priority amid busy schedules.

  • Exploration – We offer faith experiences through drama, art, dance, literature, and music, recognizing that children learn in many different ways.

  • Resources – We provide families with materials that extend faith formation beyond Sunday mornings and into everyday life.

  • Our Call – We give children and families opportunities to practice outreach, stewardship, and service, learning what it means to love our neighbors both locally and globally.

  • God’s Whole Family – We create intergenerational opportunities in worship and fellowship, reminding us that people of every age are welcome at God’s table.

Our Curriculum

We use a variety of curricula to make God’s word and Jesus’ teachings accessible and relevant for children and youth, as well as the adults who guide them. This year’s materials are being crafted by our Minister of Faith Formation, Kelsey DeCarlo, together with John Haas and our dedicated teaching team.

You’re Always Welcome

We understand that family life is busy, and children may not be able to attend every week. Our doors are always open, and teachers are ready to welcome children back after any absence. Friends are always invited, too — Sunday School is a place of joy and belonging.
