Update on the Church's Efforts to Adapt to the Pandemic

April 2021 - The Adaptation Vision Team continues to bring together church leaders to steer ongoing big-picture responses to the pandemic.

We have been grateful for the patience and teamwork of so many people to keep each other safe during the pandemic!

Since December 2020, we have held in-person worship Sundays at 9:00 AM (with RSVPs--Click [ HERE ] to sign up).

Many adults in CT are getting vaccinated. Governor Lamont recently lifted percentage capacity limits on worship services; however, due to the six-foot distancing rule to keep everybody safe, we still have a strict limit on the number of pews that we can use for each service (approximately every third pew). The in-person events we do have are abiding by and exceeding the safety standards put forth by the MIlford Health Department.

We also know that many people do not feel safe being in physical proximity to others. That is why we continue to provide online worship on our [YouTube page]. Details about our Holy Week and Easter services can be found [here]. Most other church events are taking place online, with links for weekly events on our [Be the Church from Home] page and other ministries on our [News & Events] page.

The church is not generally open to the public, although we do continue to offer windowside service to our Tuesday food closet and safe pick-ups for the Emma Davis Medical Equipment Ministry. Our Office Administrator work in the church buildling four days a week and can usually answer the church phone line during office hours (9-3, M-F) or will get back to you as soon as possible.

Please email the Senior Pastor, Rev. Adam Eckhart, at revadam@firstchurchofmilford.org if you have any questions or concerns. Thanks and God bless you!
