We Will Not Be Enemies

September 30, 2018--Amid the swirling debate over Judge Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation hearings and Dr. Christine Blasey Ford's testimony, and the tribal-political undercurrents of that debate, Rev. Adam preaches on the lectionary Gospel reading, Mark 9:38-50, about the disciples opposition to a man who is healing peoople in Jesus' name. Specifically, Adam points out that Jesus is grounded in the power of love to declare that we will not be enemies.
