The Memory of Suffering

May 27, 2018--For Memorial Day 2018, Rev. Adam sets out four primary ways that we remember suffering (our own memories of suffering; memories of suffering we caused; memories of others' suffering we are helpless to change; and inherited memories of suffering), suggesting that the church is itself based on the inherited memory of Christ's suffering and the power of God's love to redeem suffering and our memories of suffering.
