We are looking for bakers willing to make some goodies for our Baked Goods table. We are also collecting buttons of all sizes and shapes to use for a project. If you would like to donate, please leave them in our pink box in the kitchen. We are planning to have our basket raffle so anyone or group that would like to contribute a "theme" basket, talk to any of our ladies during Coffee Hour. For questions email Ruth McCrodden (ramcc33@gmail.com) or Joan Jacobs (203-874-7685)

Neighbors in Need Offering--Neighbors in Need (NIN) is a special mission offering of the United Church of Christ that supports ministries of justice and compassion throughout the United States. One-third of NIN funds support the Council for American Indian Ministry (CAIM). Two-thirds of this offering is used by the UCC's justice and witness Ministries (JWM) to support a variety of justice initiatives, advocacy efforts and direct service project throught grants. Neighbors in Need grants are awarded to UCC churches and organizations doping justice work in their communities. These grants fund project whose work ranges from direct service to community organizing and advocacy to naddress systemic injustice. This year, special consideration will be given to project focusing on serving our immigrant neighbors and communities.
