First UCC makes its presence known in the community but we can still sometimes be taken for granted as a historic building instead of as a vibrant faith community. To counteract that, we're staffing a booth on the greeen during this year's Oyster Festival and need people to staff it! The Sleeping Giant State Park hike that was canceled due to weather will be rescheduled for late June.

Due Sunday, May 7, 2023 - The deacons annually award the Tweedie Scholarship to deserving young adult church members who are about to begin post-high school education. Applications have been mailed to twelfth graders who were
confirmed; however, if you didn't get the application or delayed the beginning of your post-high school education and want to apply, please contact the church office at 203-877-4277. The deadline for submission is Sunday, May 7, 2023.

May 6 - 9am - Noon - First Church's Outreach Ministry is here to help you get your garden started with our annual plant sale, taking place on
Saturday, May 6. Once again, it will be outdoors in the church parking lot and this year, coincides with a drive-thru food drive for the First Church Food Closet.
"Bring a food donation for the food drive and we'll give you a $1 off coupon for a plant," said Ann Sabo, coordinator of our Food Closet. Tend your soul (and garden) AND our neighbors in need! The plant sale takes place in the church parking lot, 46 West Main Street, Milford. Proceeds benefit Christian Community Action's Apartment Angels.

Milford's Earth Day celebration will take place Saturday, April 22nd from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on the famous downtown Milford Green! Saturday, March 11, 2023 - Join the Senior High Youth as they host The Potato Soup Sale. This event benefits the Senior High Youth Group's June Work Trip to Deep Roots, Inc in Maryland, who works to end homelessness. Come and enjoy wonderful soup as you support community at the St. Patrick's Day Parade!
