First Annual Meeting of SNEUCC Conference a Success!

Executive Conference Minister Elected with Overwhelming Approval

After founding the Milford Pastoral Counseling Center (MPCC) and practicing psychotherapy there for almost four decades, John Sandel is retiring at the end of September 2020. The MPCC Board invites people to a social-distance get-together to honor Sandel's career. [ more ]


Bridges Step Forward Memorial Walk

Pride Week "Open Doors" Worship Service

Sunday, June 14, 2020 - 7:00pm - Join us online for a moving ecumenical worship service to kick-off Pride Week in Milford, held jointly by First Church, Mary Taylor Memorial UMC, Woodmont UCC and Milford Pride.  A free-will offering with be donated to Black Trans Circles, a program of the Transgender Law Center. Five Churches Hold Benefit Concert for Milford Pride

Friday, October 25, 2019 - MILFORD - Under a rainbow of floating peace cranes, five local churches came together in ecumenical partnership, to hold a heart-opening benefit concert for local LGBTQ+ advocacy group, Milford Pride. Special Guest Preacher: Rev. Evalyn Wakhusama of Kenya

Sunday, October 13, 2019 - Rev. Evalyn Wakhusama will preach at our worship services. Rev. Wakhusama is the founder of the Nambale Magnet School in Kenya, dedicated to helping children who are impacted by the HIV/AIDS epidemic to get quality education and be future community leaders. Wakhusama is only the second female to be ordained in the Anglican Church in Kenya. She received the Lux et Veritas award from Yale Divinity School in 2011 related to her inspiring work. Revs. Adam and Ashley were classmates of Rev. Wakhusama at Yale Divinity School and are thrilled that the Deacons and Outreach ministries have invited her to preach about how God connects her ministry with ours. Silent Movie Night! (Nosferatu)

Saturday, October 12 - Join us for our second annual Silent Movie Night on October 12th at 7pm! Organist Daniel Brownell will provide live original accompaniment to Nosferatu, the first vampire film of the silver screen. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and students, and $5 for children 5-18. Tickets include popcorn and water. New Haven Pride March

Bridges Step Forward Memorial Walk
