Adult Choir

At the heart of worship at First Church is our Adult Choir, which sings at the regular 10am worship services, most weeks through the program year. They lead us in congregational hymns and specialize in presenting traditional/classical anthems of the sacred choral music repertory. The Adult Choir is open to all Gr.9 through adult and new members are welcome at any time.

Even if you are not always able to make every Wednesday rehearsal, or every Sunday morning you are still welcome to join us!  Please contact Daniel Brownell to be added to our email blast list, so you can be kept in the loop about happenings and schedule changes.  This allows members the flexibility to come and go as busy schedules alow and keeps you up to date on all logistical and musical changes.  We hope that all will join us!

Please see below for rehearsal schedule, important dates, recordings and resources for Choir members to practice and prepare and more.  The Choir rehearses Wednesday evenings but the regular schedule varies depending on the Meetinghouse Chorale rehearsals.  The Choir rehearses on Sundays before worship at a regular time, that sometimes varies depending on other ensembles who are participating in worship.  Dan is also available to anyone on Sundays before the rehearsal to catch anyone up on upcoming repertoire. Just send him an email (
