Showcase Concert Series

The Showcase Concert Series is an annual series of a Fall and Spring Concert that features the Meetinghouse Chorale and Orchestra.  These concerts also feature the Meetinghouse Ringers, Pilgrim Chorale, and Youth Choir which allows our other ensembles to showcase their gifts.

This year, we will present two dynamic concerts in our Showcase Series.  On Saturday November 18th at 4pm, we will commemorate the 500th Anniversary of the Protestant Reformation by presenting a concert of music dedicated to celebrating the German Lutheran Music Tradition.  The Meetinghouse Chorale and Orchestra will present the essence of the Bach B minor Mass and the Brahms' German Requiem, and the other ensembles will round out the showcase end of the concert.   Then on Saturday April 14th at 7pm, we will celebrate great literature in music.  The Meetinghouse Chorale will present Randall Thompson's Frostiana in the 60th Anniversary of its composition, and our other ensembles will feature music that combines great literature and music together.

Contact Dan Brownell ( for more information about joining the Meetinghouse Chorale and about tickets.  Tickets generally go on sale a month before each concert and you can purchase tickets in advance for the whole series and receive a discount!  Be sure to check out the Mulheron Organ Series and the Jolly Beggars as well.
