From Pastor Adam

Dear Friends in Faith,

On behalf of the leadership and the whole congregation, I welcome you to this website. We hope that you find what you are searching for both here on the internet and in the faith community that gathers on Sunday mornings and throughout the week to engage in tangible Christian ministry.

If you join us for worship, you will likely find that it is a joyful celebration of each Sunday as a "little Easter." If you investigate our church's history, you will find out that we are among the oldest congregations in the United States, founded in 1639 by Puritans seeking religious freedom and a spiritual community.

If you look at our ministries, you will find that we are engaged in programs of outreach, music, faith formation and youth ministry that transform lives in the congregation and in the world around us.

If you get to know the people of this congregation, you will likely find that there is both a diversity of backgrounds and a basic unity of Spirit as pilgrims journeying together in faith, seeking to follow Jesus Christ in humility, prayer, praise and compassion every day.

Please contact us if you'd like to find out more, or simply come to Sunday worship (8 AM at the Chapel and 10 AM in the Sanctuary [9:30 AM in summer]). God bless you and we hope to see you soon!

God's Peace,
Rev. Adam E. Eckhart, Senior Pastor
