Meetinghouse Chorale Spring Concert
April 26th 4:00 pm

On April 26th at 4:00 pm, the Meetinghouse Chorale, with guest
soloists and instrumentalists, will offer an all-Mozart concert in the
sanctuary. The group of works presented will span Mozart’s life
from early on to just six months before his death.

The Alleluia from Regina Coeli dates from one of his times in Salzburg in 1771 when he was just 15. On the other hand, his Ave
Verum Corpus
dates from 1791, six months before his death.
A movement from the Trio in G Major. from 1786, will provide
a change of texture, with no vocalists and requiring piano, violin
and ‘cello.

The featured work is his Coronation Mass, which includes the
forces of soloists, Chorale and instrumentalists, and dates from
1779. Though the Mass was probably not composed for a particular
coronation, it was played for at least two such royal events.
Come and support this lively event! Tickets are available in the
church office and at the door for a donation of $10.

Hosanna!

A Spiritual Journey Through Holy Week

Lenten Study led by Rev. Jim and Rev. Ashley
Each Sunday evening in March: 6:30-7:45pm

(March 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29)

Church Library

Every one of the four Gospel writers and Paul have a reason for writing. Each wants his audience to come to see who Jesus Christ is and what God is doing in and through him. Hosanna invites you to explore the main texts in all four Gospels and in Paul’s writings that deal specifically with the last week of Jesus’ life and with the resurrection.

We invite you to listen and respond to five stories of the One Story, over five sessions.  Join us on this Lenten spiritual journey through Holy Week.

Childcare is provided.  Cost: $13 for resource book (one per family).  Financial assistance is available upon request.  Sign up and order your resource book by Feb. 15; call the Main Office 877-4277.

     Questions, email Rev. Ashley:  mfducc.cemin@gmail.com

Evelyn's Witness...A Gathering to Connect and Grow Spiritually

Thursday, February 5th from 7:00 – 8:30pm

Church Parlor

This is a time to ask ourselves and others powerful questions such as:   Where are you growing in your prayer life?  What is new in your life of faith?  Where does your life need "weeding"?  How can I help you?  What can we pray about?

Share news, joys, concerns.  Ask questions.  Get to know others in the church community who are seeking God’s direction.

We meet the first Thursday of the month in the Parlor.  The gathering is open to all members of the church and friends whom you might feel called to invite.

Contact Laura Jarvis, coordinator, 283-5210 or laura@opentoallpossibilities.com for more information.

The Pumpkin Patch

The Senior High Pilgrim Fellowship youth group sold pumpkins in the field behind the Plymouth Building at 16 West Main Street. The sale of these pumpkins will help to support the Senior High Mission Trip to New Orleans where our young people and their advisors will dedicate a week in June to reconstruction in the area devastated by hurricane Katrina.  We want to thank all who bought pumpkins and all who worked in the patch.
